I have Recently Given a Short Description About “Spam Injections and Hidden Malicious Codes in WordPress theme” in my last post Hacked Themes can Harm Your Blog. “Blog Hacked” are the 2 Terrible words that a Blogger never wants to See on its own Blog, Creating a successful Blog takes lot of effort but if you are Not Protected then any Person can Hack the Blog with the help of Spam Code Injection in your Theme file. The Spam Injections are Basically the Codes (iFrame or Javascript) which are Encoded in to Hacked theme to track the Details of the Blog Database and also to Add some Malware or Viruses to the Blog’s Database. All the theme files of WordPress are in .php Format and if any Hacker get access to any theme file of the Blog than it Becomes easy to Hack the Blog.

To Up come from the fear of Getting Hacked through Spam Injection in your WordPress theme file or Getting Blacklisted by Google. You first always Select a theme which is available for free. If you want to go for a Premium WordPress theme First Buy it from its Original Developer and Don’t Download it from Untrusted Zones. The WordPress Themes which are available for free on WordPress.org are 100% Safe to use for your Blog.

After Installing any theme First scan it with WordPress AntiVirus Plugin. This Plugin will let you know that which of your Theme file contains Hidden Codes or codes that does not Belongs to the File. If all the Themes fine are marked Green then you can Use that Theme. But if any Theme files Appears Red or Orange that means it contains Malicious Codes in it. If you are a PHP developer then Repair it or i Suggest to Use another theme. This Plugin will also help you to find that your Theme file has been hacked or not.

Just For Knowledge:

If you are having a Feeling that your theme file is having Virus and above Plugin is Not Detecting it, then check the files Single.php, Sidebar.php and Footer.php Manually for any type of code. Because Spam Injections are Mostly done in these files.
